State police cited three York County businesses for selling alcohol to minors last month.

The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement issued citations to Cheddar's Casual Café, 1540 Toronita St. in Manchester Township; Stadium Grille, 133 N. Duke St. in York City; and The Boulevard Sports Garden, 2350 Eastern Boulevard in Springettsbury Township, according to state police.

Each business is accused of serving one alcoholic drink to a minor, state police said.

An Administrative Law Judge could impose fines ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses on a business that is found guilty.

If found guilty, a business could also have its license suspended or revoked based on the severity of the charges. The judge could also mandate training for a business as part of the verdict, police said.
