A Seven Valleys man was killed when the motorbike he was driving collided with a truck in North Codorus Township on Sunday.

Larry Miller, 66, of Yellow Church Road in Seven Valleys, was traveling north on Seven Valleys Road when his motorbike collided with a pick-up truck at the intersection of Linton Terrace at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, according to Southwestern Regional Police.

The driver of the truck, Keith Reed, 46, of Jackson Township, was not hurt in the crash, police said.

When the truck struck Miller's motorbike, he was thrown across the hood of the truck, police said.

Miller was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and he was transported to York Hospital with multiple injuries, police said. He remained listed in serious condition throughout the afternoon and was pronounced dead Sunday evening, said police.

He died of multiple blunt force trauma and there will be no autopsy, said York County Deputy Coroner Onalee Gilbert.

Police closed the roadway for approximately three hours Sunday evening to reconstruct the crash.

The investigation continues, but it appears Reed violated the right of way that Miller's vehicle had, according to a news release from Southwestern Regional Police.

Any witnesses are asked to call investigating Officer Mike Matthews at 225-1333, ext. 110.
