Three motorcyclists - two of whom were taken to a hospital - were injured in a crash in Fairview Township on Sunday.

Troy Hamill, 35, and 19-year-old Agustin Agulair-Echeverria, both of Dover, were taken to Hershey Medical Center for moderate to severe injuries after the 5:40 p.m. crash in the 200 block of Valley Road, according to township police.

Hamill and Agulair-Echeverria were part of a group of approximately 12 motorcycles that was traveling east when Hamill failed to negotiate a curve and went off the road and down an embankment, police said.

Agulair-Echeverria hit the rear of Hamill's motorcycle and crashed.

The third rider, Daniel Carabello, 35, no address provided, swerved to avoid the collision and crashed into a nearby yard, police said.

Carabello suffered minor injuries but did not require a trip to the hospital.

Hamill was listed as being in fair condition Monday, according to a Hershey Medical Center spokeswoman.

The hospital did not have a listing for Agulair-Echeverria.
