Two individuals were arrested after trying to pawn jewelry stolen in Manchester Township earlier this week, Northern York County Regional Police said.
On Wednesday, the police department investigated a daytime burglary at a home in the 600 block of Woodlandview Drive. The burglars took a coin collection and jewelry, police said.
On Thursday, Clyde Searles, 54, and Catherine Smith, 49, both of the 200 block of Belvidere Street, were arrested in West Manchester Township after attempting to pawn the jewelry taken during the burglary, police said.
Searles and Smith were arraigned on charges of receiving stolen property. Police said additional charges might be filed.
