The Church of the Open Door is hosting GriefShare, a weekly seminar and support group for people grieving the death of someone close.

The group will meet 7-9 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 23-Nov. 15, in Room 302 at the church, 8 Carlisle Court, York.

GriefShare is a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss, organizers said. At Griefshare you will learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life.
