A York man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl, documents state.
Police say Rafael Antonio Imbert-Lenchez, 62, of the 100 block of South 7th Street in York, admitted during a June 26 interview to sexually assaulting the girl.
Authorities learned about the alleged attack when the girl's parents contacted York City Police June 25, according to charging documents. The girl later told the York County Children's Advocacy Center that the man did bad things to her where the two could not be seen, documents state.
Imbert-Lenchez was charged with one count each of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors and contact / communication with a minor for sexual offenses.
