A police incident at a home in West Manchester Township was resolved "in a good manner," according to West Manchester Township Police Chief Arthur Smith.

The incident began at about 7:15 p.m. Sunday and police were at the scene until the early morning hours on Monday, as they attempted to contact a distraught man in a home in the 2400 block of Fairway Drive.

Smith said the distraught man was a threat to himself and others.

He was taken to hospital for evaluation. No one was hurt. .
