A 3-year-old boy is dead after he was found Friday floating in the family's Dover Township swimming pool, police said.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Spangler Avenue around 10:43 a.m., according to a news release.

The child's uncle and a neighbor performed CPR on the child, Tristan Clive Duke, until emergency responders arrived. The boy was taken to York Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Northern York County Regional Police.

The investigation continues, police said.
