Northern York County Regional Police said they are investigating the circumstances of a weekend fight that started in a North York nightclub, spilled onto the street and left three men injured.
One of the injured, a 22-year-old Lancaster City man, underwent emergency surgery at York Hospital for stab wounds to his upper torso, police said. He is expected to recover.
Responding just before 2 a.m. Sunday, police found a large fight involving about a dozen people outside the LUX Club, 1327 N Duke St. in North York Borough. The crowd scattered, but police found a 23-year-old Lancaster City man lying unconscious in the street from fight-related injuries. He was treated at the scene.
Another victim, a 29-year-old York City man, suffered a head injury after he was struck by an ice bucket. The man is an employee of the club and was trying to break up the fight. He was treated for his injuries at York Hospital, police said.
Officers learned later of the stabbing victim, who'd been taken to the hospital.
