The National Weather Service in State College has issued a flood advisory for Southern York County and Southern Lancaster County until 12:30 a.m. Monday.

At 9:37 p.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rain was falling due to slow moving thunderstorms. Doppler radar estimates that up to 2 inches of rain has fallen in the last hour. Expect flooding to begin shortly.

Locations that may experience minor flooding include but are not limited to Airville, Spring Grove and Red Lion in York County and Smithville and Quarryville in Lancaster County.
