The National Weather Service is calling for a strong chance of thunderstorms throughout the day and evening on Sunday.
The chance of precipitation is 70 percent in the York area during the day on Sunday, with thunderstorms most likely after 2 p.m.
The chance of rain drops to 60 percent Sunday evening.
Otherwise, Sunday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies and a high of 92.
Monday's high is also expected to hit 92, then temperatures begin to climb again, with a Tuesday forecast of mostly sunny and a high of 98.
After Sunday, the next significant chance of rain comes Wednesday when there's a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, the weather service says.
