FELTON -- A first-inning single was all that separated Red Lion pitcher Shawn Hedrick from six perfect innings on Wednesday evening.

Felton's Zeke Ottemiller, the second batter in the bottom of the first, singled off Hedrick for the only hit the veteran right-hander allowed in his six innings of work. Hedrick struck out seven and didn't issue any walks.

Joe Doyle, who pitched the seventh inning for the winners, gave up one hit as Red Lion rolled to a 7-0 victory.

John Wilt, Andy Taylor, Tyler Taylor and Taylor Gunder each had two hits, including a double, for the visitors, who scored five times in the second inning.

Gunder drove in three runs, and Wilt batted across two runs.

Red Lion improved its record to 19-6 and moved to within one game of first-place Conrads (21-6). Felton fell to 6-20.
