Several traffic lights along South Queen Street in York Township were out Thursday morning because of a power outage, causing traffic problems.

Fire police were directing traffic through the intersections of Queen Street and Leader Heights Road and Queen and St. Charles Way, according to the York County 911 media log.

Also, an accident was reported at Queen Street and Tyler Run Road, 911 said.

At 7:15 a.m., officials were trying to get generators to the affected intersections.
