A Peach Bottom Township home was destroyed in a Saturday afternoon two-alarm fire.
Fire crews were dispatched to 7554 Woodbine Road about 4:15 p.m. for the fire, said Joe Strickler, an assistant chief with Delta-Cardiff Fire Co.
A state police fire marshal ruled it was an electrical fire, Strickler said.
The fire started when a tree fell on a power line and sent a surge of electricity into the home, he said.
Electronic devices in various parts of the home then caught alight, Strickler said.
No one was injured in the blaze but the house was destroyed.
"As far I as I can tell, it was a total loss," Strickler said.
