JACOBUS -- Casey Markey made sure that York Township gained a split of its two Susquehanna League games over the weekend.

Markey pitched six shutout innings on Sunday afternoon before turning things over to former Major Leaguer Mark Hendrickson in Township's a 7-0 victory over Jacobus.

The victory came 24 hours after Township lost to Conrads, 9-6.

Markey struck out three, walked one and allowed six hits. Hendrickson recorded one strikeout in retiring the three batters he faced.

Markey's teammates backed him with a 12-hit attack, which included Mike Wokulich's grand slam to left-center field in the sixth.
