Thursday will be sunny, with a high of 95 and low of 66, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will be from the north at 6-11 mph, and there's a slight chance of thunderstorms Thursday night.

Friday will be much the same, sunny with a high of 96 and low of 71, the forecast said.

Saturday's high could reach 100, with a low of 75, the NWS said. The day will be mostly sunny, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. and winds from the west at 5-8 mph.

Sunday will be slightly less hot, with a high of 91 and low of 68, the forecast said.

The heat will break in earnest at the beginning of next week, with highs of 84 and low of 64 along with sunny days predicted for Monday through Wednesday, the forecast said.
