Police have arrested a Dover Township man now accused of snatching a woman's purse at a Dover Township car wash last week.
Joseph Michael Kingston, 23, of 2600 Carlisle Road, was arrested without incident at his home on Monday, according to Northern York County Regional Police.
He was taken to the county's central booking unit to be charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property for the June 27 robbery, police said.
According to police a 30-year-old township woman was at a car wash in the 2600 block of Carlisle Road about 6 a.m., getting change out of her purse.
Kingston ripped the purse from her hands and ran off through back yards, disappearing into nearby woods, police allege.
Police confirmed they are looking into whether Kingston might be involved in a knifepoint robbery at the Turkey Hill Minit Market, 2820 Carlisle Road, early Saturday morning.
