A purse containing its owner's wedding band and engagement ring was stolen from a car at Gifford Pinchot State Park on Thursday.

A Harrisburg woman told state police that she and her boyfriend went to the park and she parked her car in a dirt parking lot at Alpine and Connelly roads in Warrington Township about 5:52 p.m., according to state police.

When they returned to the car, its passenger side window was shattered and the purse that was on the passenger seat was gone, police said.

The purse also contained a credit card, police said.

When the woman arrived at the park, there was a small pickup truck with two men in it parked nearby, police said.

Police are looking for the white pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet S-10, that had a Philadelphia Eagles sticker on the left part of its tailgate and the two white males in their 20s who were in the truck, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 428-1011.
