Because of the Independence Day holiday Wednesday, all regular curbside trash collections on Thursday and Friday will be delayed one day, York City announced.

For this holiday week only, Thursday customers will be collected on Friday and Friday customers will be collected on Saturday. For specific questions, contact the Public Works Department at 849-2245.

Additionally, City offices will be closed Wednesday in observance of the holiday.
