Craig Diehl teamed with a new doubles partner this year for the York City-County Tennis Tournament, but the result was the same as in past years: a championship.

After partnering with Jim Kohr for 22 titles, Diehl combined with Ryan Mellinger for the 2012 tournament. Kohr was not available because he was on vacation.

Diehl and Mellinger entered as the top-seeded team and upheld the seeding with two victories, including a 6-2, 6-1 triumph over Mikesh Desai and Phil Myers on Monday evening at Farquhar Park.

Diehl will now set his sights on winning his 11th Men's Singles crown. He'll take on Myers at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Emily Westenberger completed a sweep of singles and doubles championships by teaming with Kyle Salaga to capture the Mixed Doubles crown. Westenberger won her first Women's Singles championship on Sunday.

Westenberger and Salaga, who will both be seniors at Dallastown High School this fall, recorded a hard-fought, three-set victory, 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 over David Pottle and Fiel Patricio.

The 92nd York City-County Tournament will close on Tuesday with the playing of the Men's Singles final between Diehl and Myers, and the Men's Consolation Singles Final featuring Salaga and Doug Graby.
