Nearly two weeks after a 63-year-old woman was struck by three cars in Dover Township, police are still seeking the drivers of two of the vehicles.

The drivers fled after hitting the woman on Bull Road on June 13.

Northern York County Regional Police are hoping the drivers, or someone who may have seen the two vehicles, steps forward with information.

"I thought somebody's conscience would have got to them," said Lt. David Lash.

The North York woman who was struck by the vehicles remains in serious condition at York Hospital, said WellSpan spokesman Barry Sparks.

Hit-and-runs: The unnamed woman stopped her vehicle on a bridge over a creek on Bull Road at the border between Conewago and Manchester townships about 10:30 p.m., police had said.

As she was getting out of the vehicle, another one struck the vehicle's drivers' side door, sending the woman to the ground in the middle of the road.

The driver of the striking vehicle stopped, and attempted to check on the woman. As the driver was calling 911, the first of the two hit-and-run vehicles ran over the woman and drove off, police said.

Moments later another vehicle ran over the injured woman.

The female driver of that vehicle stopped, and went to check on the injured woman. She then got back in her vehicle and drove off, police said.

Police aren't sure what prompted the injured woman to stop her vehicle or why she got out of it.

Police are hopeful she may be able to provide some clues about the hit-and-run drivers or their vehicles should she recover from serious injuries to her torso and legs .

The woman has been in an induced comatose state because of the injuries, Lash said.

"We haven't had the ability to talk to her yet," he said.

Tips: Police have a description of one of the drivers.

The second hit-and-run driver was a white female with long brown hair. She was wearing flip-flops, a light colored blue or white T-shirt and tan capri length cargo pants, police said.

There is no description of the first hit-and-run driver or of either vehicle that left the scene.

"It's disheartening that someone hasn't come forward yet," Lash said.
