A vehicle crash caused a power outage for 117 Met-Ed customers in Lower Windsor Township Monday morning.
The crash closed Mount Pisgah Road and Cool Creek Road at around 7:15 a.m., according to York County 911.
Met-Ed spokeswoman Kathy Seilhamer said the crash broke off a pole near the intersection of Laurel Drive and Mount Pisgah Road, causing an outage to 117 customers.
"It's just unfortunate they struck that particular pole," she said.
The pole that was struck contained several large transformers, and it was expected to take several hours to restore power, she said shortly before 9 a.m.
