Police tell WPVI-TV ( http://bit.ly/LSbfpx) that the shooting happened early Sunday in the East Falls neighborhood. They say calls to 911 reported a shootout between several men.

Police say a 33-year-old man was shot in the head and died at the scene. A 19-year-old man was shot several times and is in critical condition.

Two other men were in stable condition: a 28-year-old who was shot in the ankle and a 35-year-old who was shot in the foot.

Police are investigating the cause of the shooting and how many people fired guns.
