A woman suffered minor injuries during a strong-arm robbery in Spring Garden Township early Wednesday morning.

The woman was in the 1400 block of East Market Street when two males forcibly took her purse as they passed her on the sidewalk, according to township police.

Police describe the suspects as black males in their late teens or early 20s with thin builds and average height.

One was wearing mesh basketball shorts and a dark T-shirt. He was riding a BMX style bicycle.

The second suspect was wearing jeans, a white T-shirt and white shoes.
