York City will host a family-friendly movie series at Kiwanis Lake this summer.
Movies will start at dusk, around 8:30 p.m., near the intersection of North Newberry Street and Parkway Boulevard.
The series is free and open to the public. Restrooms will be open for use at Farquhar Park.
The series begins Wednesday with "Dolphin Tale." The following movies will show later in the summer: "Zookeeper" on June 27; "The Smurfs" on July 11; "Happy Feet Two" on July 18; "Kung Fu Panda" on July 25; and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" on Aug. 1.
