Connie Shorb will continue her bid for a 31st York County Women's Amateur Golf championship by taking on Karen Miller on Wednesday.

The 2012 tournament is taking place at Regents Glen Country Club.

Shorb opened play on Tuesday with a 4 and 3 quarterfinal victory over Paula Bauer. Miller, meanwhile, outlasted Amy Golden, 1-up.

Amy Kennedy and Ruth Stover won the other quarterfinal matches.

Kennedy downed Tally Leeper, 4 and 3, and Stover bested Cindy Jay, 5 and 4.

Kennedy will match shots with Stover in Wednesday's semifinals.

The championship match is set for Thursday.
