Manchester Township-based Kinard Trucking Inc. has been acquired by A&S Services Group LLC, a trucking company headquartered in both New Freedom and Baltimore.

The transaction closed Friday and retains all current employees, said company President Ken Buck.

In fact, the business is looking to grow "aggressively," he said.

"We're in line to grow by 20 percent," he said.

With a current base of 500 employees, the company expects to add 100 employees during the next two years, Buck said.

The trucking firm largely serves Fortune 500 companies in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and New Jersey.
