A 63-year-old North York woman who was hit by three vehicles, two of which fled the scene, last week remained in serious condition at York Hospital on Monday.

The woman, whose name was not released, had stopped her vehicle on a bridge over a creek on Bull Road at the border between Conewago and Manchester townships when she was knocked down by a vehicle, Northern York County Regional Police had said.

As she was lying in the middle of the road, two other vehicles struck the woman and then drove off.

The driver of the first striking vehicle stopped and aided the injured woman.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the drivers of the two hit-and-run vehicles is asked to contact police at 292-3647, through 911, or use the crime tip-reporting portion of nycrpd.org.
