BELLEFONTE -- On the first day of Jerry Sandusky's trial on child sex abuse charges, NBC News is reporting that Penn State officials, including ex-president Graham Spanier, could have more charges filed against them.

The NBC report, citing unnamed sources, said investigators have 2001 emails among Spanier, school official Gary Schultz and athletic director Tim Curley that allegedly show they opted not to contact authorities about abuse allegations related to Sandusky.
