Shane Melhorn was unhittable on Thursday evening.

The Dover pitcher hurled a no-hitter to lead his team to a 5-0 Central Baseball League victory over visiting Shiloh.

Melhorn struck out 12 and walked just one in his first career Central League no-hitter.

Austin Rickrode provided all the offense Melhorn would need when he connected for a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth.

Dover improved to 8-3. Shiloh fell to 1-10.

STOVERSTOWN 7, MANCHESTER 0: Ryan Kassab and Connor Schweinebart combined on a five-hit shutout in Stoverstown's victory.

The first-place Tigers improved to 8-1 with their seventh straight triumph. Manchester fell to 2-9.

Kassab went the first five innings, striking out four without a walk. Schweinebart pitched the final two innings, fanning two and walking one. Kurt Krout (two hits, two RBIs) and Zach Schuler (two hits, one RBI) led the Stoverstown offense.

PLEASUREVILLE 13, MOUNT WOLF 0: At Mount Wolf, the visitors jumped out to a 9-0 lead after the top of the first and never looked back.

Todd Meyer led Pleasureville, going 5-for-5, including a solo homer, to go with three runs scored and two RBIs. Chet Haifley (2-for-4, two RBIs, two runs scored), Tyler Page (2-for-5, two runs scored), Matt Meyer (3-for-5, two runs, two RBIs) and Eric Meisenhelder (three RBIs) also excelled for the winners. On the mound for Pleasureville, Lesabiel Castro pitched a shutout, striking out four and walking five.

For Mount Wolf, Mark Burnside hit a double.

JEFFERSON 6, GLEN ROCK 5: At Jefferson, Scott Trail drove in the eventual game-winning run in the bottom of the fourth on a ground out.

Trail also picked up an RBI earlier in the game on sacrifice fly.

Joe Jasinski (3-for-3, triple, three RBIs, one stolen base, one walk), Andy Hershey (double, two walks, two runs scored) and Collin Porter (2-for-3, one RBI, one stolen base) also had good nights for Jefferson.

The game went just 5½ innings because of rain.
