It's becoming a tradition now.

Following a York Revolution win, pitcher Corey Thurman hands out a "key to the city" to York's "player of the game."

It's unclear if the key actually unlocks anything, but it's a giant metal key that's handed out nonetheless.

On Tuesday, shortstop Danny Gonzalez received it after a 3-for-4 performance, including the game-winning RBI double.

On Wednesday night, the key was passed to outfielder Brandon Haveman. Deservedly so. Haveman accounted for all four of York's runs against Camden. He got the first one by crossing the plate in the first inning on an RBI single from Chris Nowak.

In the seventh inning, the Revs started a two-out rally when Andres Perez and Danny Gonzalez singled and Salvador Paniagua was hit by a pitch to load the bases for Haveman. On a first-pitch sinker from Camden reliever Jeff Farnsworth, Haveman smashed a bases-clearing three-run double to right field. The hit proved to be the game-winner. The Revs hung on for a 4-2 win over Camden at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

"I've played with Farnsworth down in Venezuela and I knew he had good stuff," Haveman said. "He just left it up in the middle of the plate a little bit and I got to it."

For the second night in a row, set-up man Adam Thomas tossed a scoreless eighth inning and closer R.J. Rodriguez picked up his seventh save of the year with a perfect ninth. Rodriguez also matched Jason Olston for second-most appearances by a Revs' pitcher (109), capping off the game by striking out Pizza Hut K-man of the Game Lloyd Turner, to send the 3,509 fans home happy.

With the win, the Revs accomplished a couple firsts on Wednesday. They won a season-best fourth-straight game, a season-best fourth-straight series and pulled their record (19-19) to an even .500 for the first time this season. York has also won 11 of its last 14 games and stayed within 31/2 games of the Lancaster Barnstormers for first place in the Atlantic League Freedom Division.

Pitching: The finish to the game was much better than the way it began for York. Starting pitcher Jesus Sanchez was pulled in the second inning after allowing two runs on five hits in just 12/3 innings.

The Revs' bullpen, however, held things together. Relievers Omar Javier, Yunior Novoa, Kris Regas (1-0), Thomas and Rodriguez combined to toss 71/3 scoreless innings, allowing just four hits.

Sanchez's performance comes a night after York saw lefty starter Ryan Feierabend get picked up by the Cincinnati Reds. Etchebarren had said Tuesday he wasn't worried about York's pitching. But he changed his tune slightly on Wednesday night when asked if he feels OK about his starting rotation.

"I'm always looking to improve the club," Etchebarren said. "I really don't want to do that. I like the guys we have. But I'm always looking to improve the club."

Game notes: York has won six of its last eight series after beginning the year with four-straight series losses. ... Perez went 3-for-3 with a run for his team-leading 13th multi-hit performance this season. ... Ramon Castro lost York's season-best 15-game hitting streak by going 0-for-4. ... Haveman now has an 11-game hitting streak. ... The Revs will cap off the three-game series with Camden on Thursday with York right-hander Shawn Hill (1-0, 4.32 ERA) facing Camden righty Ricky Brooks (2-0, 1.23).
