Drivers in York and Adams counties could run into DUI checkpoints this month. State police at the Loganville barracks are planning a DUI checkpoint sometime in June, according to Cpl. Brian Torkar.

A DUI checkpoint is also planned for this weekend in Adams County. It will be held sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Sunday, according to the Center for Traffic Safety.

Checkpoints are announced in advance, but other DUI enforcement - including roving DUI patrols - might not be announced beforehand, according to the center.
