A former youth minister has been sentenced to 12 to 40 years in prison for sexual assaults on two teenage boys and possession of child pornography.
Jeffrey Crosley, 36, of Littlestown pleaded guilty Monday in Adams County Court to two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and four child porn counts. Prosecutors dropped charges of rape, statutory sexual assault and more than 180 other child pornography counts.
Crosley had volunteered for 10 years at Jesus Messiah Evangelical Free Church in Hanover. Littlestown police arrested him in February 2011 and said he admitted having had sexual relationships with about 10 boys.
The Gettysburg Times said Crosley apologized in a statement read by public defender Kristin Rice, saying "I ask God to help heal those who I have hurt."
