A state police trooper found 200 small plastic bags of crack cocaine in a car he stopped on Interstate 83 in Springfield Township on May 7.

Its driver, Daniel James Adams, 29, of Baltimore, is charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a control substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and three summary driver violations, including driving on a suspended license, according to online court documents.

Adams is free on $50,000 bail, according to a York County Prison official.

The trooper stopped the car Adams was driving for a vehicle violation near mile marker 11 about 12:30 a.m., police said.

Along with the bags of crack cocaine, the trooper also found a large amount of cash in the car, police said.
