The York-Adams League won't have a District 3 team tennis champion in 2012.
The last three local teams lost in the tournament semifinals Tuesday at Hershey Racquet Club.
Dallastown lost its Class AAA match to Cedar Crest, 3-1. Mike Klahold and John Schmitt teamed up for the Wildcats' only win at No. 2 doubles, earning a 6-4, 6-4 victory.
South Western also lost in AAA, dropping a 3-0 decision to Hempfield.
Dallastown and South Western now square off at noon Wednesday in the District 3-AAA third-place match at HRC. The winner will advance to the state tournament.
In Class AA, Biglerville suffered a 3-0 loss to Wyomissing and will face Camp Hill in a third-place match at HRC at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The winner also moves on to the state event.
The AAA final will pit Cedar Crest vs. Hempfield at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at HRC, while the AA final, also at HRC, will see Wyomissing against Lancaster Country Day at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Doubles tournament: Only one York-Adams team earned a top-four seeding in the District 3 Doubles Tournament, which gets started Friday at HRC.
The Dallastown team of Adam Gante and Andy Murray is seeded No. 4 in Class AAA.
