Six men fled from a van that caused a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Cape Horn Road on the border of York and Windsor townships, but responding officers caught two of them.
Both men are illegal aliens and have been turned over to federal immigration officials, according to York Area Regional Police.
The driver of the van is still being sought, Sgt. Jeffrey Dunbar said, and is facing charges for causing the 8 a.m. crash near the corner of Starlight Drive. The men in custody gave police the driver's name, Dunbar said.
All six men work for Strathmeyer Forests Inc. of Warrington Township, police said. Owner Fred Strathmeyer did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.
The driver of the passenger car, 22-year-old Lindsey Green of Red Lion, was taken to York Hospital by ambulance. Her condition was not available as of 3 p.m., a hospital spokeswoman said.
Green had to be extricated from her car by Yoe firefighters, Dunbar said, and underwent surgery at the hospital.
