Expectant parents and families with young children have the chance to attend an expo unlike any other in York County this Saturday.
The seventh annual Baby and Kids Expo will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Memorial Hall East at the York Expo Center.
The event has free admission and is organized by Memorial Hospital.
Children's activities include arts and crafts, a bounce house, face painting, soccer clinic, reptiles, balloon art, and magic and science shows.
Skeeta the Clown, Dora the Explorer and Sesame Street's Elmo will make special appearances and be available for photographs.
Musical performances
by Steven Courtney and the Suitcase Musicians will occur throughout the day, and there will be a dance presentation by Greater York Dance.
Babies will compete in the Diaper Derby, a crawling contest, at 11 a.m.
Students from the Lancaster School of Cosmetology will provide free massages, miniature manicures and hairstyling.
More than 80 exhibits will feature a variety of local businesses ranging from photography to automobiles to health care and education to retailers.
WINK 103 will be broadcasting live from the expo, and concession stands at the York Expo center will be open.
