A thief stole a bicycle from a Spring Garden Township home Monday but left another one in its place.

The silver DEX Vanquish bike, valued at $200, was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 500 block of South Ogontz Street between 1 and 4 a.m., according to township police.

A blue Pacific SE 2000R bike with dual suspension was left on the porch by the thief, police said.
