York Suburban's Jamie Nixon-Alark was frustrated when he had to sit out his team's track-and-field meet against Northeastern earlier this season.
A hamstring injury turned the junior sprinter into a spectator.
Northeastern won, 80-70.
"I felt bad I wasn't in there," Nixon-Alark said. "I usually win the 100 and 200, and that's 10 points."
Nixon-Alark was healthy and back on the track Tuesday, delivering impact performances in a crucial meet as the Trojans handed Eastern York its first York-Adams Division II defeat, 812/3-681/3. The result left Suburban, Eastern and Northeastern, which lost to Eastern, tied for first place. Barring an upset, the trio will share the division crown.
The Suburban girls,

Nixon-Alark won the 100- and 200-meter dashes and anchored the winning 1,600-meter relay team.
The junior doesn't particularly like the 400 (each runner in the 1,600 relay runs a 400), but took one for the team.
"It's very, very tiring," he said. "It's difficult for me, but they (the coaches) said we needed the points, and I said I'll run it (the 1,600 relay) for you."
Nixon-Alark and Eastern's Alex Cooley entertained the Senior Night crowd with duels to the finish line in the 100 and 400 relay. Nixon-Alark prevailed in the 100, and Cooley held off his rival in the relay.
"I like competing, and he (Cooley) gives me good competition," Nixon-Alark said. "The coaches told us they felt we could win this meet, and we came out and did our part."
Suburban dominated on the track, piling up a 61-26 advantage.
"Our guys were really pumped up for this meet," Trojans' coach Dave Wickenheiser said. "That mile (1,600) race was so fantastic when Kirk Beaver (of Suburban) just edged out that guy at the end. Jon Hutchinson
And then there were The middle- and long-distances races. Trojans' distance coach Dan VanHouwe's crew piled up a 23-4 advantage in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200. Beaver won the 3,200 to go with the 1,600.
The Suburban girls' middle- and long-distance runners were even more impressive, winning the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 by the combined score of 24-3.
The Trojans' Lily Corsaro placed first in the 1,600 and 3,200. The senior plans to run for New York University next year.
"Lily, she's been an integral part of this track team for the last four years," Wickenheiser said. "She's going to the Penn Relays for the first time on Thursday and is going to run the 400 (a leg of the 1,600 relay) for us."
Corsaro has earned more than her share of individual honors. However, she's just as proud of what the team accomplished the past three years.
"As a senior, it will definitely be great to have the title again and also give the younger girls confidence that they can get the title next year," she said. "It's an awesome feeling winning this meet. They (Eastern) are our biggest competition, and they're good year after year."
Wickenheiser said he admires the girls' toughness and how they take care of business.
"That's how it's been the last three years," he said. "They hate to lose."
Taylor Landis won the long jump and triple jump for the Trojans, and Lauren Shrader captured the 300 hurdles and recorded the same time as Eastern's Rebecah Delp in the 110 hurdles (:16.8).
Katelyn Stine (100 and 200) and Victoria Keller (shot put and javelin) recorded two individual first-place finishes apiece for Eastern.
On the guys' side, Eastern's Jacob Kautz leaped to victories in the triple jump and long jump and his teammate, Alec McKee delivered the longest throws in the javelin and discus.
