Shrewsbury and Felton boroughs and York, Windsor, Lower Windsor and East Hopewell townships have ended their bans on open burning, the municipalities announced.

These York County municipalities continue to have active burn bans: Chanceford, Conewago, Dover, East Hopewell, Hellam, Jackson, North Codorus, Paradise, Shrewsbury and West Manheim townships and New Salem and Seven Valleys boroughs.

Open burning is also banned in all of Adams County.
