The West York boys' lacrosse team maintained its grip on sole possession of first place in York-Adams Division II on Thursday.

The Bulldogs blanked visiting York Catholic, 13-0, to improve to 8-2 overall and 7-2 in the division.

Klayton Garman led the Bulldogs, collecting four goals and three assists. Seth Clauser (three goals), Tanner Gerace (two goals, one assist) and Joey Smith (two goals) also excelled for the winners.

The Bulldogs held the Irish to just two shots on goal.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

SUSQUEHANNOCK 11, KENNARD-DALE 8: At Fawn Grove, Zach Speights led the Warriors with three goals and three assists. Thomas Nace (four goals), John Chamberlin (two goals, two assists), Phil Norris (two assists), Zach Gloeckner (one goal, one assist) and Sean Kaliszak (one goal, one assist) also excelled for the Warriors. For the Rams, Jesse Schonbrunner scored three goals, while James Barlow had two goals and one assist and Dave Wallace added two assists. Susquehannock improved to 6-3 in York-Adams Division II and 6-4 overall.

DALLASTOWN 14, SOUTH WESTERN 4: At Hanover, Dallastown pumped in seven goals during the third quarter to open a commanding 12-2 lead. Jake Mitchell led the Wildcats with six goals and three assists. Tanner Ierley supplied three goals and four assists for the winners, and David Dygert and Pat Conroy had two goals apiece. Cody Mai and Rich Delea scored two goals each for South Western. Dallastown improved to 11-0 overall and 10-0 in York-Adams Division I.

CENTRAL YORK 13, EASTERN YORK 2: The host Panthers (7-2 York-Adams Division I, 7-3 overall) were paced by Max Haldeman (four goals, three assists), Nate Troupe (four goals) and C.J. Belker (four goals). Central goalkeepers Andy Frye and Shane Walker combined for 16 saves. Conrad Rhein and Jon Witman each scored a goal for Eastern.

RED LION 10, SPRING GROVE 8: At Spring Grove, Zach Nichols pumped in three goals to lead Red Lion. Nick Young added two goals for the Lions and Tanner Reif chipped in one goal and three assists. K.J. Gaunt collected two assists for the winners. Brock Neiderer had three goals and Zach Gregory registered two for Spring Grove. Gregory also collected two assists.

YORK SUBURBAN 17, NEW OXFORD 5: At New Oxford, Kris Reinhold scored six goals and assisted on two others to power Suburban. Ian Size added five goals for the Trojans, while Dom Badovinac and Anthony Bettencourt each added two goals. Bettencourt and Badovinac each had three assists, while Reinhold, Camden Kelliher and Cameron Sprenkle had two each.

GIRLS' LACROSSE

SOUTH WESTERN 21, DALLASTOWN 7: At Dallastown, Callie Kavanaugh had seven goals, while Katie Wherley and Sydney Szparaga added five each to lead the Mustangs. Breann Young had four goals and an assist for Dallastown. First-place South Western improved to 10-1 overall and 8-1 in York-Adams Division I.

YORK CATHOLIC 17, WEST YORK 6: The host Fighting Irish (8-1 York-Adams Division II) were led by Alexis China (four goals, assist), Dana Amalfitano (three goals, assist) and Natalie Fiorenza (goal, two assists). West York's Sara Sweitzer had three goals and Karli Breeden added two.

RED LION 13, NEW OXFORD 4: At Red Lion, Sierra Donovan led the Lions, scoring four goals and picking up one assist. Alyssa Dehoff and Jenny Smith each scored three goals, while Raquel Rich scored one goal and added one assist. For the Colonials, Liz Con scored twice.

SPRING GROVE 10, YORK SUBURBAN 6: At Spring Grove, Dempsey Murphy led the Rockets, scoring three goals and recording one assist. Kristen Rabenstein and Shelby Walter each scored two goals, while Carlie Musselman scored one goal and picked up one assist. For the Trojans, Gabe Greco scored two goals and picked up an assist.

KENNARD-DALE 19, SUSQUEHANNOCK 11: At Glen Rock, Morgan Day, Lyndsey Duty and Taylor Davis led the Rams by each scoring four goals. Nicole Black registered three goals, while Abbie Pietra scored two goals. For the Warriors, Brooke Clasing scored four goals, while Brit Boyer, Bri Boyer and Olivia Bond each scored two goals. K-D improved to 9-0 in York-Adams Division II.
