The York Suburban boys' tennis team moved into a tie for first place in York-Adams Division II on Monday with a 7-0 win at Northeastern.

The Trojans received singles victories from Michael Hogg, Elliot Diehl, Nick McElhinny, Ben Lam and Sam Atkinson. Hogg combined with Diehl to win the No. 1 doubles match, while McElhinny and Jon Nguyen combined to win the No. 2 doubles match.

Suburban improved to 5-1 in Division II, pulling into a tie with Susquehannock and Biglerville. Overall the Trojans improved to 9-3.

OTHER BOYS' TENNIS

SOUTH WESTERN 7, SUSQUEHANNOCK 0: At Glen Rock, Mack Meyer's hard-fought match with Kaltrin Bullaj at No. 1 singles highlighted the crossover match. The clash went three sets with the South Western senior pulling out a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 victory. Quin Meyer, Brandon Stremmel, Noah Staub and Tyler Garrett also earned singles points for the Mustangs, who improved their overall record to 12-1. Susquehannock is 9-4.

NEW OXFORD 7, WEST YORK 0: At West York, the Colonials received singles victories from Kodie Stem, Mike Gruver, Dwight Kessler, Jeffrey Stiles and Josh Wayne. New Oxford improved to 4-2 in York-Adams Division I and 11-2 overall.

YORK COUNTRY DAY 4, DOVER 3: At Dover, the Greyhounds captured the non-league match in doubles with Matt Berland and Luke DiPasquale combining to win the No. 1 match in straight sets (6-2, 6-0). Berland, DiPasquale and Josh Wertz also each won a singles match. For the Eagles, Cameron Miller and Brent Schreiber each won a singles match, while Levi Peters and Drew Deardorff won the No. 2 doubles match.

SPRING GROVE 6, HANOVER 1: At Hanover, Spring Grove won every match but No. 2 singles in the crossover clash. Chris Mathews, Jeremy Seitz-Brown, Matt Sheehan and Andrew Bowman earned the singles points for the Rockerts. Seitz-Brown, after losing the first set, 6-0, rallied to win the next two sets by the same score.
