Penn State's 2013 football recruiting class now stands at eight players.

Hershey High School lineman Andrew Nelson gave the Nittany Lions a verbal commitment on Sunday.

Nelson is 6-foot, 5-inch, 260-pounder who is expected to play offensive tackle at Penn State.

Nelson, who was not rated by either Scout.com nor Rivals.com, also reportedly had offers from Maryland, Missouri, Northwestern, Pitt and Temple.
