The York College tennis teams came away with a pair of Capital Athletic Conference victories over visiting Frostburg State on Sunday.
The Spartan men and women each earned 5-4 victories.
Matthew Rosenkrantz (No. 6) and Jake Greenstein (No. 5) each won in singles and teamed to win No. 3 doubles to lead the York men. The Spartans also got a singles win from Philip Myers at No. 2. Tyler Cheatham and Nathaniel Hoskins earned the No. 2 doubles victory for York.
The York men improved to 9-7 overall and 4-3 in the CAC. Frostburg fell to 9-8 and 2-4.
In the women's match, Katelyn Acker (No. 1) and Samantha Brenner (No. 3) won in singles and combined to win No. 1 doubles to pace the Spartans. Emily Price also won at No. 6 singles for York. Arcondia Vlahos and Nicole Olsen won at No. 3 doubles for the Spartans.
The York women moved to 6-10 and 3-4, while Frostburg dropped to 4-9, 2-4.

SPARTANS SIXTH IN GOLF EVENT: The York College golf team is in sixth place after the first day of the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational on Sunday.
The Spartans had a first-day total of 36-over-par 320 in the two-day event, which concludes Monday. The host school and defending champion, the University of Scranton, leads after the first day at 297. Nine teams are entered in the tournament, which is being played at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic.
Kevin Long was York's top scorer at 6-over 77, good for a tie for 15th individually. Scranton's Chris Schank had the day's top score at 72.
York's other scorers were Travis Oot (80, tied for 20th), David Boslough (81, tied for 24th) and Andrew Schmehl (82, tied for 27th).
