Red Lion took over sole possession of first place in York-Adams Division I girls' soccer on Thursday afternoon with a 2-0 triumph over visiting Spring Grove.

The Lions improved to 4-1-0 in the division, good for 12 points. Dallastown is second at 3-0-1, good for 10 points. The Wildcats, however, have played one fewer game than the Lions. Spring Grove fell to 2-3-0 in the division.

Emma Georgantis scored a first-half goal off an assist from Kylie Strong to give the Lions a 1-0 lead. Strong added a second-half goal.
