A group of thieves who stole a motorized shopping cart from a Springettsbury Township store would have had a slow getaway without the aid of a pickup truck.

The motorized shopping cart, meant to be used by people with disabilities, was stolen from in front of Walmart, 2801 E. Market St., on April 1, according to township police.

The thieves fled in a dark-colored pickup truck that was pulling a white enclosed trailer, police said.
