An employee of an East Manchester Township business died there Wednesday afternoon after stabbing himself in the neck, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

The 62-year-old Mechanicsburg resident committed suicide, the coroner's office has ruled.

No autopsy is planned.

The incident happened about 2 p.m. at Allegheny York Corp., 3995 N. George St.

Northeastern Regional Police also investigated.

Allegheny York Corp. provides other manufacturers with sealing-related products for use in other industries, according to its website.
