Under a 2007 bridge improvement bill signed by former Gov. Ed Rendell, 16 bridges in York County were identified for accelerated repairs. Work on some of the projects continues. York County bridges covered under the bill are:

---Stonewood Road bridges over a tributary to Cabin Creek and over Kreutz Creek in Springettsbury Township.
---Conewago Bridge No. 1 over the Conewago Creek in Dover Township.
---Conewago Creek Bridge No. 2 over the Conewago Creek in Dover and Washington townships.
---Eberts Lane bridge over Interstate 83 in Springettsbury Township.

---North George Street over Willis Run in York City.
---I-83 northbound bridge over Lake Redman in Springfield Township.
---Sheep Bridge Road bridge over the Conewago Creek in Newberry Township.
---Hanover Street near Spring Grove Area High School over Brunch Run in Jackson Township.
---Cool Springs Road bridge over Route 30 in Hellam Township.
---York Road bridge over Bennett Creek in Newberry Township.
