Leg Up Farm has received a $20,000 donation from Dentsply International.

The money will be used for therapeutic programs and services provided to children by the Mount Wolf nonprofit, according to Tom O'Connor, director of development at Leg Up Farm.

Dentsply made the donation through Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit program.

In that program, businesses can receive tax credits equal to 75 percent of their contributions up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year.

"Dentsply is pleased to support Leg Up Farm in advancing their mission to improve the lives of children with special needs and their families," Dentsply CEO Bret Wise said in a statement. "This type of facility is unique to the area and has helped many children realize their full potential."
