Two Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar restaurants under construction in York County will open next month.
A location at 105 N. Northern Way in Springettsbury Township will open Oct. 29, said Traci Micheau, regional marketing manager for the Minneapolis-based chain of sports bars.
The location being built at 81 Wilson Ave. in Hanover will also open in October, but a date has yet to be confirmed, she said.
Plans for the Springettsbury Township location include a 7,000-square-foot restaurant at the York Mall shopping center, which is flanked by Sam's Club and Walmart.
Buffalo Wild Wings is near completion there between the Sam's Club gas pumps and Applebee's restaurant along Northern Way.
Additional plans include site upgrades, such as streetscape landscaping along East Market Street and Northern Way, sidewalk extensions and traffic light improvements.
The Hanover location will be 5,000 square feet of new construction in Gateway Hanover - a strip mall anchored by Target.
Both of the new restaurants will hire about 45 employees at their respective locations and have extensive multi-media systems for viewing sporting events.
Named for the Buffalo, N.Y.-style chicken wings, the restaurants will serve their specialties in nearly 20 flavors.
The menus also include burgers, flatbreads, ribs, salads, sandwiches, wraps and more.
